Constructivist Book Cover Design

An introductory assignment to spatial design, focusing primarily on constructivist principles as they are applied to book cover design. The assignment guidelines were very strict: our only available font was Akzidenz Grotsek, while we could only use red, white, and black as our colour palette. My designs establish a strong sense of hierarchy, while the cover element clusters are positioned in such a way that the overall look does not feel cluttered and allows the eye to move freely across the entire layout.
